Simple Countdown

The Simple Countdown will include the book’s cover with active countdown. I will make it so the book cover will link to the goodreads page for said book. I will also include a "Add to Goodreads" button that will link to the goodreads page for the book. Once the release date is here, the countdown timer will automatically stop counting and say AVAILABLE NOW!
There will be a link at the bottom of the countdown that says “Countdowns by Erin” that will link to a page where the embed code for the countdown timer is available for people/bloggers to copy and paste the countdown onto their own blog. This page will also have the book cover, release date information, book synopsis and pre-order links if available.

The timer will have icons that will link to the preorder pages for (your choice) of the following: Amazon, B&N, iTunes, Kobo, The Book Depository, Indiebound or Google. If you would like to include a goodreads icon to link to the goodreads page, please let me know in the comments section of the form.

The newest version of the countdown timer that I have to offer!
This is the Advanced Countdown Timer PLUS: Share buttons for Social Media and an embed (HTML) button.
The social media share buttons will link to the product page located on my website where the user can get the embed code for the countdown. This page will also have the book cover, release date information, book synopsis and pre-order links if available. The embed (HTML) button when clicked will display a pop up and gives your visitor the embed code to the countdown widget so they can put it on their own site.

Payment

I won’t ask for payment until after you’ve seen the countdown widget and are satisfied with how it looks. When you are satisfied I can send you an invoice via Paypal or Google Wallet. If you fail to pay the invoice the countdown widget will be deleted from my server. If you have it embedded on your site, you WILL SEE A 404 error where it is embedded on your site.

I would like to have more than one countdown widget made, will you give me a discount?

Absolutely! If you have 2 or more countdown widgets you’d like made I will definitely give you a discount. Contact me via the contact form below and we can work something out. 🙂

I have a site hosted on wordpress.com will your countdown work on my site?

Unfortunately NO, my countdown widgets will NOT work on wordpress.com blogs. WordPress.com does not allow for embeds of any sort. I’m always looking for ways around this and when I find one, I’ll scream it from the rooftops, er..or social media.

I have a self-hosted WORDPRESS blog will your countdowns work on my site?

ABSOLUTELY, my countdown widgets should work on all platforms with the exception of the wordpress.com platform. The wordpress.com platform is the only one that my countdown widgets will NOT work on.

I would like to have a Goodreads button added to my countdown widget, can you do that?

Yes! If you’d like for me to put a goodreads button on your countdown, I can do that! I’ll add one by the pre-order buttons.

I only have a pre-order link for Amazon but I plan on having it available for pre-order on other retailer sites in the future. Can you update the countdown widget and add pre-order links when they become available?

Yes, I can do that and update the countdown widget. It will automatically update throughout the internet so that where ever your countdown widget may be displayed it will reflect the changes that I have made to it. 🙂

Does the countdown widget work on mobile devices?

Yes, I recently was able to make my countdown widgets mobile device friendly!

What size is your countdown widget? Can you change the size of it?
My default size for a countdown widget is 220 px wide. If you have a website with columns that are more narrow than 220px, I have been able to make them as small at 160px wide.

Can you make it BIGGER?
Absolutely! I’ve made a countdown widget BANNER before for placement at the top of a website. We can make it as big as you’d like!
